NACDOR to hold ''parallel parliament'' for uplift of dalits

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) The two-day convention of the National Conference of Dalit Organisation (NACDOR) has unanimously decided to hold a parallel ''parliament'' before the commencement of every Parliament session.

Talking to UNI, NACDOR national convenor Ashok Bharti said the ''parallel parliament'' will deliberate on various problems and issues facing the dalits.

He said based on the demands and requirements for the uplift of dalits, special budgets will be presented in ''parliament'' and the Government will be urged to fund projects and schemes for the speedy economic and social growth of the community.
