Man kills father-in-law over family dispute

Jalandhar, Nov 5 (UNI) A 65-year-old man today succumbed to his injuries after he was attacked by his son-in-law over family dispute at Shiv Nagar here.

According to police, Des Raj had some dispute with his wife Sunita and when his father-in-law Bachan Lal came to know about the dispute, he went to Des Raj's house to know the exact reason.

In a fit of anger, Des Raj hit his father-in-law with a heavy utensil on his head last night resulting in his death.

Maqsoodan SHO Sakkatar Singh said that an FIR under section 304 of the IPC had been registered against the accused, who was still absconding.
