LJP general secretary discusses 'Sankalp Rally'

Kolkata, Nov 5 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Dalit Sena national general secretary Premnath Gupta today met Sena state president Arvind Kumar Goldhar here and discussed the 'Sankalp Rally' to be held in Patna on November 28.

Mr Gupta told UNI that he also had discussion in this regard with LJP state president Meera Chakraborty.

He said both Mr Goldhar and Ms Chakraborty assured him of sending a strong delegation from here to the proposed rally to be addressed by Steel and Chemicals Minister Ramvilas Paswan among others.

Mr Gupta informed that Dalit Sena national president Ramchandra Paswan, MP, Surajbhan Singh, MP, and Pashupati Kumar Paras, MLA, would also address the rally.

'' A large number of people will congregate in Patna from across the country to participate in the rally and we expect the figure will be around ten lakh, '' Mr Gupta said.

Mr Gupta said he would have meeting with party leaders in this regard in Puri tomorrow followed by Bhubaneswar on November seven and in Cuttack and Rourkella after Diwali.
