Kodinar PI suspended for dereliction of duty

Junagadh, Gujarat, Nov 5 (UNI) An inspector attached to the Kodinar police station was suspended for dereliction of duty.

The suspension of PI L N Jadeja followed after Ahmedabad prohibition branch raided a local liquor den at Kodinar police limits and recovered illegally manufactured liquor worth over Rs 3 lakhs on October 31.

It is alleged that the den was allowed to flourish despite the PI's knowledge about its functioning.
