Bokaro, Nov 5 (UNI) A year after his government was reduced to minority with a few ministers then withdrawing support on the pretext of a dilapitated road in Jharkhand, former chief minister Arjun Munda of BJP today said the situation had deteriorated, as there was hardly any motorable road in the state at present.

Mr Munda, the Leader of Opposition, said the present Madhu Koda-led UPA government was installed as he did not give in to the whims of some MLAs with vested interests at the cost of his NDA government's promises and people's aspirations.

Talking to UNI here, he said it was ironical that the present Chief Minister, who revolted against him for a particular road in his home district, prompting a few more MLAs to cause the fall of the NDA government, had not been able to repair the same.

Mr Munda said both UPA government in the state and at the Centre were making fun of people's expectations.

He said a few Legislators, including the present Chief Minister, had conspired to pull down his government but people could now see their ''mean political design'' and would certainly give a befitting reply in the next Assembly polls.

He said the law and order situation reached its lowest ebb with naxalite activities picking up alarmingly.

Mr Munda held the coalition parties of NDA-RJD, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress responsible for pathetic scene in the state.
