First batch of Haj pilgrims to leave for Mecca on Nov 12

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) The first batch of Haj pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh would leave for Mecca from Begumpet airport on November 12.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would flag off the first batch of Haj pilgrims from Haj camp in the city, State Minority Welfare Minister Mohd Ali Shabbir said, while inspecting the arrangements for the pilgrims at Haj house.

He said the Haj Committee, with the assistance of the State Government and the Wakf Board, was providing better facilities to the pilgrims as compared to last year.
