CM to launch health scheme in Chittoor district

Tirupati, Nov 5 (UNI) As part of the "Arogya Sri" health scheme for five more districts in the state, Andhra Prades Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy will inaugurate it at Palamaneru in Chittoor district on December 5.

The scheme, already being implemented in Anantapur, Mahboobnagar and Srikakulam districts in the first phase, was extended to West Godavari, East Godavari, Rangareddy and Chittoor districts to be launched next month, according to official sources here today.

The Chief Minister will also issue health cards to eligible people Below Poverty Line (BPL) under the scheme.
