Asia's leading luxury hotel brand award to Oberoi Hotels

New Delhi, Nov 5: Oberoi Hotels and Resorts has bagged Asia's leading luxury hotel brand award, adjudged by global travel body - World Travel Awards.

''The Oberoi Group has led Asia and India at the World Travel Asia, Australia and Indian Ocean Awards list by receiving six awards,'' said a statement.

Kolkata-based Oberoi Hotels and Resorts was awarded the Asia's Leading Luxury Hotel Brand, while The Oberoi, Mauritius was judged Indian Ocean's Leading Hotel. Trident Hilton, Gurgaon received Asia's Leading Meetings Hotel award, whereas Kohinoor Suite of The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur was judged as Asia's Leading Suite.

India's Leading Hotel award was given to Trident Hilton, Gurgaon and Wildflower Hall, Shimla was given India's Leading Spa Resort title.

World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge the achievements found in all sectors of the global travel industry.
