AISSF demands punishment for those guilty in '84 anti-Sikh riots
New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) activists from Punjab today marched to Parliament, accusing the Central Government of not punishing those guilty of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
The AISSF, a front body of the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) announced that they would organise a 'movement of minorities' to ensure their existence at a safe and equal footing in the country.
The AISSF later organised a meeting at Rakabganj Sahib Gurudwara.
AISSF President Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad subsequently presented a memorandum to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
