Vidiaya Sagar to receive Rashtriya Gaurav Award

Dharamshala, Nov 3 (UNI) Indian International Friendship Society (IIFS) has decided to confer 'Rashtriya Gaurav Award' to former Himachal Pradesh Minister Vidiaya Sagar for his contribution to the society in various fields.

The award along with a Certificate of Excellence would be presented to Mr Sagar on November 20 at New Delhi during a Seminar on the "Economic Growth and National Integration", which would be attended by various Central and state Ministers, MPs, Industrialist, Social workers and intelligentsia.

IIFS office secretary Gurmeet Singh in a letter to Mr Vidiaya Sagar said the Rashtriya Gaurav Award, which has been conferred on him this year has earlier been conferred on various eminent personalities, includes Ms Mother Teresa, former Vice President B D Jatti, former Air Chief Marshal N C Suri, former Director CBI Mr Joginder Singh and former Chief Justice of India Justice P N Bagwati, Justice R S Sarkaria, Election Commissioner G V G Krishenamurthy and former H P Chief Minsiter P K Dhumal.
