J'khand govt to organise udyog mela on state's 8th foundation day

Ranchi, Nov 3 (UNI) Jharkhand government has organised a week-long ''Udyog Mela'' from November 14 to mark the eighth foundation day of state slated on November 15.

Talking to reporters here today, Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto, who also holds the industry portfoilo said the mela, which would continue till November 21, would also help in the promotion of industrial investment in the state.

Mr Mahto said that eight committees had been so far formed for proper functioning of the event.

About 500 stalls from various industrial houses would be set up in the mela, the deputy CM added.
