3 militants and a women killed in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 3:Three militants and a women were killed in an encounter in north Kashmir district of Baramulla today, official sources said .

A defence ministry spokesman said that troops of 29 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched an operation at village Nilah, three km from Pattan, following information about the presence of militants.

When the truops were cordoning the area an encounter ensued, in which three militants were killed.

He said the operation was still on.

Official sources said a women was also killed in the encounter.
