TN: Youth claims to invent 'air-engine'

claims
to
have
invented
an
air-engine,
which
is
more
efficient
than
the
conventional
one.
A diploma holder in mechanical engineering, T Parameswaran (22) of Virdhunagar told newspersons here that his invention operated on air and had more Horse Power (HP).
He contacted an official of the Small Industrial Service Institute on 'Servo Pressure Engine.' The official then ran tests on his engine and after being satisfied about its performance, encouraged him to apply to the Patent Office.
Mr Parameswaran had also released a copy of a letter from the Patent Office mentioning that his application had been found in order for grant.
However, the patent would be granted after disposal of pre-grant opposition by way of third party representation, if any, under the law.
