Work on double track delays trains to Jammu Tawi

Jammu, Nov 2 (UNI) The ongoing work of doubling the railway track between Jammu and Pathankote has delayed almost all incoming and outgoing trains to Jammu Tawi, official sources said today.

''Swaraj Express, Jammu Mail, Malwa Express and Tata Moori were running late by four to five hours, the sources told UNI.

Passengers were suffering a lot of inconvenience as the railway authorities had not made any proper announcements pertaining to the arrival and departure of the trains.

Meanwhile enraged over the attitude of the railways authorities, the passengers, including those returning from the cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, stagged a demonstration at Jammu railway station, the sources added.
