Two NSCN(K) cadres, one civilian dead in ambush

Three
people,
including
two
NSCN(K)
activists,
were
killed
when
their
vehicle
was
ambushed
by
their
rival
NSCN-IM
cadres
near
Tuensang
town
last
evening.
Official sources said that a combined group of NSCN(K) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) cadres were travelling in a vehicle from Tuensang to Kuthur village in the district when the rival cadres ambushed them on the road killing two cadres of NSCN(K) and the civilian driver of the vehicle.
Some weapons of the slain cadres were also taken away by the attackers. Police and personnel from District Administration rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of three people.
Police took away the bodies for investigations, sources said.
