Prez concludes Kerala visit, leaves for Chennai

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 2: President Pratibha Patil's maiden visit to Kerala concluded here today.

During the three-day visit, the President launched a few development programmes and enjoyed an evening at Kovalam beach resort.

Ms Patil left for Chennai by a special Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft at 1021 hrs.

She was seen off at the airport by Finance Minister Thomas Issac, Thiruvananthapuram city Mayor Jayan Babu and other senior officials.
