NSCN(K) denied any involvement in the reported ambush

Kohima, Nov 2 (UNI) The NSCN(K) has denied any involvement in the reported ambush in Tirap of Arunachal Pradesh on October 26 last.

In a release issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) here today, the outfit asserted that it was not involved in 'such condemnable and anti-peace practice'.

''It must be the handiwork of some anti-NSCN elements who constantly try to malign the image of the NSCN through their cheap propaganda,'' the statement said.

No NSCN(K) cadres were active in Tirap district, it claimed.
