Mine collapse in Chhattisgarh, 4 killed
Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, Nov 2 (UNI) Four women were killed and two injured when an illegal sandmine collapsed today at Pakani village, about 60 km from here, police said.
The women were engaged in extraction of 'chui mitti' -- yellow and white mud -- when the accident occurred. Four women trapped inside died while the others were rescued. Both the injured were hospitalised at Pratapur.
A case has been registered.
