Indian Companies too much obsessed with performance: McKinsey
Bangalore, Nov 2 (UNI) Sustainable excellence remained elusive to most Indian companies because they excessively focus on performance alone, William Schaninger, Principal, McKinsey and Co said today.
Speaking at the concluding session of the CII Quality Summit which ended here today, he said there was a link between organisational health and financial performance. At the heart of a healthy company was organisational effectiveness. Companies need to ask themselves if they were ready to drive change, spur growth and innovation and adapt to market shifts, he said.
The 15th edition of Quality Summit witnessed participation from nearly 1000 delegates across India to honour 356 companies for their quality performance. There were 25 speakers from across the globe and India who spoke at nine plenary sessions.
