Imposter posing as Punjab Revenue Minister's 'PA' booked

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 2 (UNI) A man, who was posing as 'PA' of Punjab Revenue Minister Ajit Singh Kohar was booked by Khamano police here today.

Police sources said that the 'Personal Assistant' of the minister came to the office of Khamano Tehsildar G.S. Benipal this morning and demanded Rs 10,000 from him but the Tehsildar refused to oblige him.

Sources said that Tehsildar at once got suspicious and caught the 'PA' to hand him over to police but he succeeded from running there.

Later, the Tehsildar went to Khamano police station to register the case. and said that the man had come to him after making a phone call and gave the phone number to police.

It was however found switched off.

Sources said that the police registered a case in evening after Kohar's office said that the man was not his P.A.
