Election material to be handed over today: CEO

Shimla, Nov 2 (UNI) The election materials like ballot papers, stationary would be handed over to the officers on election duty today under the tight security for the three tribal Assembly Elections to be held on November 14, Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda said here today.

''It is being ensured that all the election related material could reach in the district headquarters well in time, where it will be furthur distributed to the polling parties as per the polling programme,'' Ms Nanda said Election related material for the 65 assembly constituencies of nine districts of the state, where polling will be held on December 19, will be handed over to the officers concerned on duty on November 5 and 6, she added.
