Dr Chande is VC of Sanskrit University at Ramtek

Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) The Governor of Maharashtra S M Krishna, in his capacity as Chancellor of the Universities in the State, today reappointed Dr Pankaj T Chande as Vice-Chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek.

The appointment is for a term of 5 years.

Dr Chande was first appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Sanskrit University, Ramtek, in September 1997, the year in which the Sanskrit University was established.

He has held the position of Vice-Chancellor since then. Dr Chande holds Ph.D. in Sanskrit from Nagpur University and has done his specialization in Classical and Modern Sanskrit literature.
