Celebrating 50 years of serving Coffee

Kannur, Nov 2 (UNI) The Indian Coffee House (ICH), a restaurant chain in India run by Workers Co-operative Societies, is all set to celebrate the 50th year of its formation.

It was late Communist leader A K Gopalan, who inaugurated the first ICH in Thrissur on March 7, 1958 under the Indian Coffee Workers Co-operative Society Limited and second in Thalassery on August 7, 1958.

The ICH has 16 branches under the Malabar zone and 55 under Thrissur zone.
