Army weapons seized from govt building in MP village

Hoshangabad, MP, Nov 2 (UNI) Army officers seized two truckloads of allegedly stolen bomb casings and boxes of weapons from a government building at this district's Gomtipura village today, police said.

The material was found in a Watershed Mission building near Kesla, the police said a dding that soldiers broke down the door to get to the material. Senior Army officers posted at Itarsi have been informed in writing in this regard.

However, no theft complaint was made by the Army over the past few months. Army officers and police are attempting to determine how the cache reached the building.
