Amendment to the Acts of certain Central Universities

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today approved introducing in Parliament a Bill that would ensure tabling of annual reports and audited accounts of the central universities in fulfillment of the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee.

The amended Bill will be called the Central Universities Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2007.

This was informed by Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi after the Cabinet meeting that took the decision.

UNI
