Abducted student rescued, woman cop among 4 held

Lucknow, Nov 2 (UNI) Police arrested four persons, including a woman police personnel, and rescued an abducted student from their clutches in Fatehpur district today.

Addressing mediapersons in the state capital this evening, Special Secretary (home) R P Mishra said Rahul -- a BDS student -- was kidnapped by his friends Jeetu, Shani and Savita Sachan, who is presently deployed in 12th PAC battalion, Fatehpur.

Acting on a tip-off, cops raided Savita's house, swooped upon the accused, and rescued Rahul.

Meanwhile, the accused cop had been suspended.
