3 IPS officers promoted as DGPs in Haryana

Chandigarh, Nov 2 (UNI) The Haryana government has promoted three IPS officers of 1975 batch to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) with immediate effect.

Mr John V George, on promotion, has been posted as DGP (Prisons) while Mr S C Sinha has been posted as Director General of State Vigilance Bureau.

Similarly, Mr Vipin Kumar, who is on deputation with Government of India, has been given proforma promotion as Director General of Police.
