13th World Lake conference in China in 2009
Jaipur, Nov 2 (UNI) The 13th World Lake Conference will be held in the Chinese city of Wuhan between November 1 and 5, 2009.
An announcement to this effect was made during the valedictory session of the 12th World Lake Conference--Taal 2007--here today.
China Vice Minister, Environment protection Administration, Wang Yuqing extended an invitation to environmentalists all over the world to participate in the conference.
Wuhan, a super large Chinese city with a population of 8.6 million, is situated at the confluence of the world famous Yangtze and Hanshui rivers and has more than 200 rives and lakes.
