'Vigilance Awareness Week' to be observed from Nov 12

Chandigarh, Nov 1 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration will be observing 'Vigilance Awareness Week' from November 12 next.

All organisations falling under the purview of the Central Vigilance Commission would be observing it.

During the Vigilance Awareness Week', all officials and employees would take a pledge to continuously strive to bring integrity and transparency in all spheres of their activities.

They would also take pledge to work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all walks of life.

During the week, efforts would be made to raise awareness among the users of services provided by the departments/organisations, about the initiatives taken for improvement of the systems and procedures, the complaint handling policy and avenues available for redressal of grievances.
