Two seriously injured journalists shifted to ICU at PMCH

Patna, Nov 1 (UNI) NDTV journalist Ajay and ANI cameraman Habib, who were critically injured in today's assault on them by Bihar JD(U) MLA Anant Singh, were shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Patna Medical College and Hospital.

Another NDTV journalist, who also sustained injuries in the incident, was, however, released after first-aid.

Singh, an MLA from Mokameh, was arrested and produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Raghavendra Prasad Singh, who remanded him to 14-day judicial custody for assaulting and keeping hostage the three journalists.

The media persons had sought his comments regarding the murder of a woman, who had levelled allegations of rape against him.
