SR to run specials during Deepawali season

Chennai, Nov 1 (UNI) Southern Railway (SR) will run a series of special winter trains during Deepawali season in order to clear extra rush of passengers.

A SR release here today said Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil special will leave Chennai Egmore at 2315 hrs on November three and arrive Nagercoil at 1415 hrs the next day.

Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore special will leave Nagercoil at 1940 hrs on November five and 12 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs the next day.

Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil special will leave Chennai Egmore at 1515 hrs on November 6 and 13 and arrive Nagercoil at 0530 hrs the next day.

Chennai Egmore - Tuticorin special will leave Chennai Egmore at 2245 hrs on Saturdays from November 10 to January 5 and arrive Tuticorin at 1215 hrs the next day.

Tuticorin - Chennai Egmore special will leave Tuticorin at 2115 hrs on Sundays from November 11 to January 6 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 1000 hrs the next day, the release added.
