Smack, firearms worth Rs 40 lakh seized

Lucknow, Nov 1 (UNI) Four people were arrested with the seizure of smack and firearms worth Rs 40 lakh in Banna Devi area of Aligarh district today.

Acting on a tip-off, police nabbed Parshuram, Bablu and Dinesh yesterday night and recovered 400 gm smack, three motorcycles, a countrymade pistol and 10 cartridges from their possession, Special Secretary (home) G K Tandon said here this evening.

The accused have been sent to jail.
