Science Express coaches made in Rail Coach Factory

Kapurthala, Nov 1 (UNI) The Rail Coach Factory here specially manufactured coaches for Science Express Exhibition train set up by Max Planck society of Germany along with Archimedes (Specialist in Science Exhibitions).

The train was inaugurated jointly by Prime Minister and German Chancellor on October 30 in New Delhi.

This is for the first time that such a science exhibition train has been set up on rails, RCF sources said.

The train comprises of 13 exhibition coaches, with different thematic modules like Big Bang, Cosmos, Creation of Life, From Gene to Life, Working of Mind, The World of Senses, Technologies of the Future, From Statistics to Knowledge, Sustainable Development, Earth- The Space Traveller, Our Home in the Cosmos, The Universe-How and When it was created.

The train will travel all around the country to propagate scentific temperament among the youth.
