Pondy CM honours freedom fighters

Puducherry, Nov 1 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today honoured freedom fighters in connection with the Puducherry Liberation Day today.

It was on November 1 ,1954 that the transfer of power was effected from the French regime.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rangasamy assured that the demands of the freedom fighters for provision of free house site patttas and ehancement in pension amount would be fulfilled.
