Maruti sales up 15 pc in October

New Delhi, Nov 1: Country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd today said its October sales went up to 15.4 per cent at 69,415 units in comparison to 60,163 vehicles during the same period last year.

The domestic sales also surged 15 per cent at 64,258 units as against 55,894 units a year ago.

Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 20.9 per cent and in A3 segment grew by 54.7 per cent during the month compared to sales in October 2006.

The exports went up 21 per cent to 5,157 units in October from 4,269 units sold last year.
