Late Chandrajeet Yadav honoured by Russian govt

Azamgarh, Nov 1 (UNI) Late Chandrajeet Yadav, a former Union Minister, has been posthumously bestowed with the 'Star of Asia and Africa Award.' He becomes the first Indian to be honoured with the award, presented by the 'Russian Society For Advancement of Asia and Africa Countries.' The award was received by the late minister's son Vijay Yadav in the New Delhi situated embassy, sources said today.

Mr Yadav, who also served as the President of Vishwashanti Parishad, was also hounoured in recognition of his contributions made towards creating world peace and unity.
