Hunger striker's condition worsens

Hisar, Nov 1 (UNI) The condition of Sandeep Chaudhry, a National Students' Union of India (NSUI) leader, has worsened as his indefinite hunger strike at Hisar Chhotu Ram Chowk entered eighth day today.

The doctors, who checked his health, have declared his condition to be serious and advised immediate hospitalisation.

DSP Sube Singh Lohan, who talked to Sandeep's supporters, said they insisted that his fast unto death shall continue till his demand for justice was met.

Meanwhile, the Guru Jambeshwar University Teachers Association has sent memorandum against the fasting student leader to the Governor and the Chief Minister.
