Haryana artists present cultural programme at Raj Bhavan

Chandigarh, Nov 1 (UNI) A colourful cultural programme was presented by artists of Haryana on the occasion of Haryana Day function at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Haryana Governor A R Kidwai presided over the function. Those present on the occasion included Vidhan Sabha Speaker Raghubir Singh Kadian, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana Congress President Phool Chand Mullana, Power Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala, Irrigation and Revenue Minister Ajay Singh Yadav, Chief Secretary Promilla Issar and prominent citizens of the town.

The artists presented a scintillating performance. Impressed by the performance of the artists, the Governor announced a reward of Rs 1.51 lakh for them.

The Haryana Chief Minister gave Rs 11,000 to Mr Rajan Prasad for his remarkable dance performance.
