Jammu, Nov 1 (UNI) Four people, including the wife of retired IGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, were killed in a road a accident near Sapwal here, official sources today said.

According to them, the accident took place near Sapwal when the van, in which the passengers were traveling, got crushed between two buses while it was on its way from Jammu to Himachal Pradesh.

While four occupants died on the spot, others received injuries, sources told UNI.

The deceased have been identified as Neelam Gupta (52) wife of retired IGP P K Gupta, Sushila Gupta (70), N D Gupta (75) and driver Anil Sharma (40).
