Court orders police to release Maudhany's passport

Kochi, Nov 1 (UNI) Ernakulam Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Cheriyan Kuriakose today directed the police to release People's Democratic Party (PDP) Leader Abdul Nazer Maudhany's passport for pilgrimage to Mecca.

However, he made it clear the passport should be returned to the police immediately on his return.

The court posted to November six orders on other petitions filed by Mr Maudhany for his discharge from 21 cases filed against him for various offences in the state.
