Agartala, Nov 1 (UNI) In time with the Assembly Elections due early next year, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) president Samir Ranjan today indicated a possible rejuvenation of the party's old political alliance with Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT).

Speaking to mediapersons in Udaipur, TPCC President said, ''If any political party comes forward with a proposal for poll understanding, PCC will take the issue with the party's High Command.

Being asked about the poll alliance with INPT, Mr Barman said the party would obey the decision of the High Command.

The comment of PCC chief assumed significance as INPT had already expressed desire to go for an understanding with the Congress.

Meanwhile, Pradesh Congress will not take any action against the nine-party legislators, who had skipped the two-day Chintan Shibir held here recently. ''There may be differences of opinions,'' the PCC Chief said and added, ''but we would move ahead with our schedule programmes.'' Mr Ranjan also said the PCC has envisaged plan to organise the party for the upcoming election.
