Asst excise commissioner suspended

Ranchi, Nov 1 (UNI) Jharkhand's Excise Minister Kamlesh Kumar Singh today suspended an Assistant Commissoner, in-charge of the department in Dhanbad district, for dereliction of duty.

Bihari Lal Mandal had been charged with financial irregularities and causing financial loss to the state government, an official release said.

Assistant Commissioner A K Verma, Ranchi, was given additional charge of Dhanbad.
