Armed criminals shoot dead three in Bhagalpur

Kahalgaon, Nov 1 (UNI) Criminals shot dead three people in separate incidents in Bhagalpur district late last night.

Police said unidentified armed criminals raided Bairia village under Nathnagar police station area in the district and shot dead a local fisherman Jogindar Mahto and his wife Dipawali Devi. The reason behind it was extortion.

In an another incident some criminals shot dead a minor at Bhatoriya village under Madhusudanpur police station area in the district, sources said.

An FIR had been lodged in the concerned police stations and raids were on to nab the killers, police added.
