Agilent Technologies introduces Compact Liquid Chromatograph

Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) Agilent Technologies today introduced the Agilent 1120 Compact LC, an easy-to-use, small-footprint, highly reliable liquid chromatograph (LC) tailored for the Asian market, and best suited for small to medium size laboratories.

The new instrument is offered in five preconfigured versions and is the first integrated LC in the current Agilent LC portfolio. The system will be distributed mainly via partners in order to fully support the new customers.

Speaking to reporters, Agilent Technologies Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group Vice President - India said, ''The Agilent 1120 Compact LC sets a new standard for routine work with standard HPLC methodology in ease of use, performance and reliability.'' ''It's designed to quickly begin running samples right out of the box with minimal set-up, and to deliver dependable results day in and day out for routine analysis. Every instrument is thoroughly tested in its final configuration before it is shipped, demonstrating traditional Agilent quality,'' he added.

The Agilent 1120 Compact LC simplifies laboratory work by optimizing performance and minimizing complexity. The complete solution features improvements in the user interface, operation procedures, new software, new columns, and associated services to provide measurable gains in quality of results, ease of use and uptime. System specifications vary by configuration.
