Septuagenarian killed, 10 injured in road mishap

Perambalur, Oct 31 (UNI) A 74-year-old man was killed on the spot and ten injured when a van in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a car coming in the opposite direction at Elambalur Thaneer Panthal near here yesterday.

The van was proceeding to Madurai from Chennai, when the mishap occurred.

The deceased was identified as Rajarathinam of Madurai. The injured were admitted to the government headquarters hospital here, police said.
