Rs 7.36 lakh looted from a Bank in Jehanabad

Jehanabad, Oct 31 (UNI) Armed criminals today looted Rs 7.36 lakh from Sukhiyama branch of Panjab National Bank under Hulash Ganj police station in the district.

Police said four motorcycle-borne criminals entered the Bank premises and looted the cash, threatening the clerks and customres at gun point.

The criminals, however, managed to escape after firing in the air to threaten the locals.

However, all the exit routes of the district were sealed and raids were on to nab the criminals, police added.
