Lok Satta urges Govt not to sign MoU with pvt managements

Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) The Lok Satta party today urged the state government not to go ahead with the MoUs with private managements to establish Rural Residential Public Schools (RRPS) under Public Private Partnership (PPP).

In a statement here, Lok Satta state secretary D V V S Varma said the state government's plan to promote RRPS with private partners would benefit only the management and not rural students.

He demanded that 20 per cent of seats in primary and upper primary schools under private management be reserved for poor students.
