CPI(Maoist) woman activist arrested in Gaya

Gaya, Oct 31 (UNI) A woman activist of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested near bus stand under Mufassil police station in the district.

Police, acting on a tip off, raided a hideout and arrested Suchita Devi, belonging to Parouria village in the district.

The arrested was said to be a convenor of the Naari Mukti Morcha, a women cell of the ultra outfit.

Several incriminating documents have been recovered, police said adding that she was wanted in connection with several extremist incidents in Bihar and Jharkhand.
