Accused handed over to Karnatak police on Transit remand
Patna, Oct 31 (UNI) The cheif judicial magistrate of Patna today handed over an accused of cheating to Karnatka police on transit remand to produce in a court of Bangalore on November 4 next.
The accused, Dr Mukesh alias Rajkumar, was arrested here by Karnataka police with the help of Patna police in connection with a case of cheating registered in High Ground police station of Bangalore.
According to the charges the accused had cheated Rs. 7 lakh from a resident of Nasik district of Maharashtra for admission of the sister of latter at Kemgodwa Institute of Medical Science (KEMS) of Karnataka. The case was registered on October 15, 2007.
