Mukesh Ambani; the world's richest man

Mumbai, Oct. 30, 2007 : Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani is now the richest person in the world. The Reliance baron left behind software czar Bill Gates, Mexican business tycoon Carlos Slim Helu and famous investment guru Warren Buffett.

Mukesh bagged the title following a strong share price rise in his three companies Reliance Industries, Reliance Petroleum and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd.
